Catholic Word of the Week (January 16, 2012)

Natural Law: According to St. Thomas, the natural law is "nothing else than the rational creature's participation in the eternal law." In other words, it is the law that everyone, in every culture and time, can know by reason alone. All humans are bound by this law.

Example: All men, in every culture and time, can know murder is wrong.
